To simply use unusual typefaces, colours, words joined together, or misspelt words is not sufficient to make a trademark distinctive, or acceptable.
Classes of Goods and Services: When you apply to register a trademark, a list must be included of all goods and services for which you want to use the trademark. The system is comprised of forty five classes, and groups together broadly similar goods or services into categories which assist the registry to carry out efficient searches of the register.

It is possible to register a trademark in all of the countries of the European Union with one application via the Community Trademark System. Upon registration of a trademark with the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market the trademark will be registered indivisibly across all of the European Union member states.
